I am very excited about our upcoming “O”Gility® Competitions. We will be holding two Events this year in both Adult and Youth Divisions. The first event will be held at Sun Dog Training Facility, 79871 Kidder Road, Bruce Twp.,  MI on July 26^th starting at 10:00 a.m. The second event will be held at A K-9 at 3434 Hart Rd., Jackson, MI  48301 on September 20, starting at 10:00 a.m.

If you are wondering what “O”Gility® is . . . it is a combination of Obedience and Agility. There is no time clock involved in this, just accuracy in both areas. The entire format for “O”Gility®, along with field diagrams can be viewed on our “O”Gility® Page.

I would really like to see both individuals and clubs become involved in this sport. Nutro Foods, once again, will be providing all of the prizes, which will include dog food and t-shirts at each event. The two top dogs of the year, one in Youth Division and one in the Adult Division, will receive free dog food for one year. This new sport has the potential to really grow. With the wonderful Sponsor, like Nutro, standing behind us in the early stages I can’t help but feel that we are heading in the right direction. All we need is for you to become involved. This is a very cost effective program. Please take a serious look at it, you could be getting in on the ground floor of something very special!

OBEDIENCE TITLES

Sun Dog Training Facility is continuing to offer Obedience Titles. These are not competitions; they are a pass-fail type of evaluation. All information can be found on our Obedience Title Page.
